Incorrect combination of products can reduce the effectiveness of drugs or even cause adverse reactions. Therefore, it is necessary to know which combinations to avoid in order to preserve health and recover faster. Nutritionist Irina Kalinina told more about it.

According to her, patients who need to take a course of antibiotics should not drink acidic fruit or vegetable juices for a while. Their use is also not recommended for people who take antitumor and iron-containing drugs.

In addition, the tablets should not be taken with milk, cranberry juice, tea or coffee, as this reduces the effectiveness of the treatment. It is recommended to give up nuts, wheat porridge and bread.

If you need to take tetracycline antibiotics, do not eat smoked meat.

“Otherwise, there is a risk of the formation of carcinogenic compounds – nitrosamines,” says the doctor.

I. Kalinina also adds that if the doctor has prescribed anti-coagulant drugs, then you should not take vitamin K, it is found in various beans, spinach, cucumbers and cabbage.
