The police charged a 60-year-old man with endangerment under the influence of an addictive substance. The driver of a Peugeot Boxer crashed his car into the fence of a family house in Partizánske, and almost three per million alcohol was measured in his breath. The Trenčín regional police reported about it on the social network on Tuesday.
“After drinking alcoholic beverages, the driver got behind the wheel of the vehicle and caused a traffic accident by driving the car into the opposite direction of the road, where he crashed into the fence of the family house with the left front,” described the police. According to them, the man continued driving until he was stopped by the city police patrol.
State police subjected the man to a breathalyzer test, which ended with the result of measuring 2.92 percent of alcohol in the breath. The repeated test ended with a result of 2.77 per thousand of alcohol. “In accordance with the law, the police restricted the driver’s personal freedom and placed him in a police custody cell,” added the police.
