As Christmas approaches, a time when homes are filled with festive decorations, advent calendar options are once again taking pride of place on the shelves. This year, in addition to the traditional calendars filled with chocolates and makeup, an original proposal appears that promises to win over fans of sensory experiences: the Yankee Candle Home Inspiration advent calendar, available at Lidl for 12.99 euros.
Designed to provide a unique olfactory journey, this calendar includes 24 candles scented with festive fragrances that evoke the Christmas atmosphere. Each candle reveals a new olfactory experience that aims to transform the countdown to Christmas into an authentic sensory celebration. Alexandra Silva, marketing manager at Lidl Portugal, explains that the idea is “to offer an alternative to the traditional calendar, allowing each day to be marked by a different aroma, creating a welcoming and festive atmosphere in homes”.
The scent selection includes eight classic fragrances associated with Christmas, such as cinnamon, pine and red fruits, among others. The calendar, with an elegant and attractive design, was carefully designed to be a decorative piece in its own right, maintaining the tradition of festive anticipation, but with a modern and innovative touch.
