Actor was incredulous: “what is going on?”
The actor John Krasinskibest known and loved for his role as Jim Halpert in the famous comedy series “The Office”, was elected this Tuesday the Sexiest Man Alive 2024 by the magazine, succeeding Grey’s Anatomy heartthrob, Patrick Dempsey, crowned last year.
The 45-year-old actor humorously admitted that was incredulous upon hearing the news this Tuesday.
“I had zero thoughts. Unless maybe I’m being deceived. You guys really raised the bar for me”, to People: “what is going on?”.
Married to the actress Emily Blunt for 14 years, with whom he lives together with his two daughters, Krasinski is no longer seen as just Jima role he played for almost a decade. The wife has already said, jokingly, that she is going to put the magazine cover as wallpaper in her house.
In 2018, the actor wrote, directed and starred, alongside Blunt, in the suspense thriller “A Quiet Place”, which was so successful that it produced two sequels.
Previously an actor linked to comedy, turned into an action starwith Michael Bay’s film “13 Hours”, and continued with his role as Jack Ryan in the popular Prime Video series, now planned for film.
His latest directing project, “IF”, which he also wrote, produced and starred in, consolidated his reputation.
