Meeting of the Chief Executive and the President of the Senate will be at 9 am; The expectation is that they will discuss spending cuts
The president (PT) summoned the president of the Senate, (PSD-MG), to a meeting at Palácio do Planalto on Wednesday (13.nov.2024). The meeting is scheduled for 9am.
The agenda for the meeting was not disclosed. It is expected, however, that the head of the Executive will negotiate the review of public expenditure with the president of the Upper House.
The Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, has already said that he would meet before the package was made official with Lira and Pacheco. According to the Poder360no meeting has been held so far.
