The actress Miranda Cosgrove implied that a “iCarly” movie would be in development to resolve the issues that remained open in the reboot of the series.
“So, I’m not allowed to confirm anything 100% yet, but I think fans of the show will be super excited because we have something in the works,” she said during an appearance on the television show The Talk.
When asked if this new project will bring back the original actors from the series, she replied: “Yes, and as we are in a moment of suspense, we will end this.”
The children’s series “iCarly” was shown on Nickelodeon from 2007 to 2012 and received a reboot in 2020, which brought in the older characters and lasted three seasons until it was cancelled.
Before the series’ cancellation, fans were intrigued by the possibility that Spencer’s mother’s absence would finally be explained.
