People magazine chose this year as the most seductive or sexually attractive man of the director and actor John Krasinski. He laughed it off and said he thought it was a Canadian joke. The husband of actress Emily Blunt added that he fundamentally raised self-confidence.
When asked by the editors of People magazine, what he was going through after the announcement that he was the sexiest man on the planet, he answered: “Actually just a momentary blackout. Empty brain. Except someone is trying to cheat on me. I certainly don’t wake up in the morning thinking, ‘Is this the day I’m going to be the sexiest man alive?’ And yet, that was the day you did. You have really raised the bar for me.’
Emily Blunt, with whom she has ten-year-old Hazel and eight-year-old Violet, was most happy for the title. “I think he’ll make me do more homework. When they release it, he says to me, ‘Okay, that means you really have to earn it here at home,'” Krasinski continued to joke.
