Camilla said she is “recovering” when she returned to social functions this Tuesday (12) after a lung infection.

Camilla, 77 years old, was forced to cancel several commitments and did not attend the event on Sunday Remembrance last weekend due to illness, but was well enough to host authors nominated for the annual Booker Prize at a reception at his home, Clarence House.

“I’m in recovery; These things always take a while to fully pass,” he told author Percival Everett at the event.

“We think it’s over, but they continue for a while, but hopefully now I’m recovering.”

Camilla’s schedule has been reduced this week to help with her recovery, and she will not attend the premiere of the film “Gladiator 2” in London on Wednesday (13).

A royal source reported that she had a bad cold, but there are no concerns for her health. Her husband, who continues to undergo treatment after being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, will still participate in all of this week’s events.
