Senate approves credit of R$27 million for repair of public buildings in RS

Due to emergency and unpredictable expenses resulting from a state of public calamity, resources directed to Rio Grande do Sul are excluded from the government’s fiscal target for 2024

The Senate approved, this Tuesday (12), the Provisional Measure (MP) that opens extraordinary credit of R$ 27.1 million to repair damages in regional headquarters of the Labor Court and the Public Ministry as a result of the floods in May in Rio Grande do Sul (). The MP now goes for promulgation.

The money must pay for the exchange of equipment and furniture, in addition to repairing damage to the building infrastructure.

According to the government, of the six buildings of the Regional Labor Court of the 4th Region located in Porto Alegre (RS), four were affected by the floods.

Other buildings affected were those of the Military Justice Attorney’s Office of Porto Alegre, the Federal Public Ministry, the Regional Attorney’s Office of the Republic of the 4th Region and the Attorney’s Office of the Republic in Rio Grande do Sul.
