Thierry Le Luron, who became particularly famous in the 1970s and 1980s for his impersonations of political and media personalities (he also recorded several songs and hosted radio and TV shows), died at just 34 years old, 38 years ago years to the day. She also confided, in passing,: “I found out from my mother that he had had an affair with an Argentinian dancer, Jorge Lago. I often saw him with women, and I know he loved two of them. So maybe he was gay, maybe bi. Thierry has not communicated about his private life, I am not going to get into it twenty-six years after his death!“
Thierry Le Luron died at the Belvédère clinic in Boulogne-Billancourt, before a ceremony was organized on November 18 of that same year by Jean-Michel Di Falco at the Madeleine church in Paris. There were all the friends and relatives of the imitator, including several politicians, such as Valéry Giscard d’Estaing and Jacques Chirac.
