Three rockets aimed at the central part of Israel.

Two men, in their forties, were killed on Tuesday in a rocket attack by the Lebanese militant movement Hezbollah, which occurred near the city of Nahariya in the north of Israel. This was announced by local rescuers, TASR reports based on a report by the AFP agency.

Rescuers arrived at the scene very quickly, one of them said, adding that the rocket had hit the warehouse. They found two men lying on the ground who could no longer be saved. In the meantime, the Israeli army announced that a total of ten rockets were fired from Lebanon towards the north of Israel, of which it destroyed several, while others landed on the territory of the area.

Another three Hezbollah rockets targeted the central part of Israel, as a result of which alarm sirens sounded, both in Tel Aviv and at Ben Gurion Airport there. However, the army, according to its statement, neutralized these rockets.

The Hezbollah movement itself reported that it targeted an Israeli air base south of Tel Aviv with a rocket attack. The attacks from Lebanese territory occurred at a time when Israel was shelling Hezbollah strongholds in southern Beirut and southern Lebanon.

The war between Hezbollah and Israel has been going on since October 8, 2023. It started as a front to support the Palestinians fighting Israel in the Gaza Strip, but it has intensified significantly since September 23, 2024, related to the expansion of the Israeli army’s operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
