The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics () announced that the volume of services in Brazil grew by 1% in September, when compared to the previous month. This result marks a new record in the historical series, exceeding the level reached in July 2024 by 0.6%. Growth in the volume of services was observed in four of the sector’s five main activities. The areas that contributed most to this result were professional, administrative and complementary services, which grew 1.4%, followed by information and communication (1.0%), transport (0.7%) and services provided to families (0 .4%).
