The definition is by Jean de Liz (PDT), who was a candidate for mayor of his party’s coalition with the PL, in which Francisco was one of the candidates for councilor. Neither was elected.
“He had a very radical ideological position, he didn’t want to support me, despite being in the coalition. He didn’t put my name on the stickers, he didn’t even want to be in the same spaces as me”, he says.
According to him, there were discussions about Francisco’s radicalism in some meetings, but the then candidate for councilor never seemed aggressive or threatening.
“I told him that the whole thing about him saying he was against communists was irrational. He said he respected me, but he didn’t defend what I defend”, says Liz.

After the 2020 election, Liz claims that she no longer had contact with Francisco and says she was surprised by the attack he committed. “He had an entrepreneurial side, he never seemed unbalanced, much less violent,” he says.
Liz currently owns a lecture and training company in Rio do Sul and did not run in the 2024 election. He became deputy mayor of the city for the PT. In 2016, he was chosen as one of JCI’s Ten Notable Young People of the World, in the category of political, legal and/or governmental affairs.
