Loyal viewers of TV Markíza were hit by the news last week that moderator Adela Vinczeová she will no longer perform in the Let’s Dance show. As the newspaper reported, the reason for her decision is that her husband should have been removed from the Let’s Dance tour project.
A fine was also to follow, and during the American presidential election, television banned him from watching Michal Kovačič’s live stream on Instagram, where he was supposed to be with former Minister of International Relations of the Slovak Republic Pavlo Demeš.
After all this, Adela flatly refused to participate in the next series of the successful project. “I’m not going to the next series, as Viktor was removed from the TV version as well as from the tour as a reaction to his activity in the news in recent months. I would not feel comfortable in such a setting. Viktor stood up for the right thing, devoted a lot of energy to it, sacrificed a lot of personal well-being, as well as our common well-being, this is the least I can do in this matter.” she stated in a statement for Adela Vinczeová, adding that it is a matter of principle for her.
“I see Markíza and Let’s Dance as brands that mean a lot to me in life, but we are currently parting ways with Markíza’s management regarding the actions towards Viktor and the topic we represent,” concluded Vinczeová.
Will it disappear from private television completely?
Favorite presenter will no longer participate in the project in which she worked for many years and they don’t even hide the fact that they are counting on the complete shutdown of TV Markíza, she stated in an interview for .
“I expect that I may never appear there again. But then again, that’s the variety of life. We don’t live in communism, where people went to hell for such decisions and statements. Or their children did not study. This is still a great luxury to make such a decision nowadays,” says Adela.
“I repeat again, it’s very sensitive for me to talk about others, because I already feel that I stink to them somehow, that they talk about it among themselves, but not with me. For me, this situation is not only about the fact that I might break the bond with Markíza, who is still my heart as a medium and television; I always remind you that we are talking about management steps here, not about Marquis as such. Maybe it will clear up some human relationships that I considered friendly,” she added for “eNko”.
