As it became known, in mid-August, the singer was forced to cancel his concert schedule and underwent an operation on his leg.
Then, his condition worsened, after a microbe got stuck in the operating room which caused him a great inflammation, as a result of which he remained in the hospital for three months.
The sister of Manolis Lidakis, Chara, spoke on Thursday morning (14/11) on the show “Morning” about the health condition of the singer:
“We are awaiting the joint replacement. He decided to go out, go home and get some rest. It was a joint decision with the doctors that he should return home shortly before the surgery to rest and be monitored by a physiotherapist.”
“Manolis was to be operated on from the beginning of September, however, streptococcus entered the knee and had to be cleaned, swollen, to be able to accept the arthroplasty. For two months he was on antibiotics, his knee had become like a soccer ball.”added the singer’s sister.
In conclusion, Hara Lidaki stated that her brother remains strong, he is psychologically well, pointing out that the only thing that makes it difficult for him is the motor problem that has forced him to use pi to be able to be served in his daily life.
