Nobody enjoys cleaning the oven. If you’re one of those people who get goosebumps at the thought of scrubbing it, there’s a simple solution. Just two ingredients and a little time, and a dirty oven will be a thing of the past.
Two components dissolve dirt in the oven
Before you start scrubbing the oven, it’s worth trying the easiest way to clean it. You need to prepare two ingredients: water and a glass of vinegar, which you pour into a heat-resistant container. Now all we have to do is put our mixture in the oven: after closing the appliance, we set the temperature to 200 degrees Celsius and wait.
When you find that the inside of the oven has become covered with steam, turn it off, but do not open it: only when it has cooled down can you start wiping the walls and door: stubborn dirt should be easy to remove.
Paste for special tasks
If dried spots remain inside the oven after steam cleaning, it is time for specific measures. If you still stick to eco-friendly tricks, simply prepare a thick paste. Add a small amount of vinegar to a few tablespoons of baking soda and make a thick paste. Then point-apply it to the dirt and wait. After a few tens of minutes, simply wipe the walls of the oven with a sponge, which should be shiny again.
If you have a dishwasher at home, it is recommended to dissolve one cleaning tablet in a small amount of water in the same way: to form a thick paste. The procedure is the same as when using vinegar and baking soda.
If you have burnt baking sheets or the bottom of the oven, it is recommended to use table salt. Sprinkle the dirt with this spice, turn on the appliance at 200 degrees and wait until the white crystals start to brown. Then turn off the oven and use a damp sponge to remove the excess salt along with the dirt.
Care of the oven
If our oven is neglected and the dirt is so old that no ecological product can clean it, it is necessary to use specialized cleaning products for burns. Unfortunately, they are very aggressive, so you have to take care of your own safety when cleaning. What do you need to remember? First of all, protective gloves to avoid damaging your hands. Do not forget to ventilate the kitchen and do not inhale the fumes that arise.
But prevention is usually easier than spending long days scrubbing the oven. Regular cleaning should become a habit that will prevent unnecessary stress and save a lot of time.
Sprinkle the oven door and coat it. Greasy dirt melts like ice cream in the middle of summer
