Francisco Wanderley Luiz left a message in reference to the graffiti on the statue “A Justiça” during the extremist acts

The director general of the PF (Federal Police), Andrei Rodrigues, said this Thursday (14.Nov.2024) that the investigation sees a connection between Franscisco Wanderley Luiz, Tiü França, who released explosives and died in Praça dos Três Poderes on Wednesday (Nov 13), and the attacks on January 8th. The PF found a message in a residence rented by the criminal in reference to Débora Rodrigues, arrested by the police for extremist acts in 2023. The man used the rented house to leave .

Débora Rodrigues was responsible for writing the sentence “You lost, Mané” with red lipstick on the statue of Justice during the extremist acts of January 8, 2023. She has been imprisoned since March 2023, when she was the target of the operation and PF.

“You lost, man,” the woman wrote. The phrase is a reference to a speech by minister Roberto Barroso to a Bolsonaro supporter who criticized him in New York after the election results.

In the house rented by Tiü França in Ceilândia, on the outskirts of the Federal District, the police found a phrase also painted in red lipstick on the mirror: “Debora Rodrigues, please don’t waste lipstick! This is to make women beautiful! Shit statue if you use TNT”.

“What we have today is the written message [por Tiü França] quoting this person [Débora Rodrigues] and linking it with the issue of the statue”, said the general director of the PF. “So this points to us as one of the elements, not the only one, but it points to a direct relationship with these episodes [8 de Janeiro]he completed.

The Federal Police investigate the case as violent abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law and terrorist acts, the same accusations that fall on the participants of January 8th. Andrei said that the attack means that “this extremist movement, unfortunately, with these actions, appears to be very alive”.

The director also stated that new threats were sent to STF ministers this Thursday (Nov 14).

“Today there were new messages and emails sending threats to the Supreme Court. [Os extremistas] They are there, they are active and they really need to be fought within the limits of the law and the limits of the Constitution so that they can be held accountable.”said Andrei.
