SP points out delay in federal transfer for vulnerable people – 11/13/2024 – Panel

These actions are carried out by 22 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), which are not receiving the amounts to maintain services such as offering food, purchasing cleaning and hygiene products and paying employees.

In a note, the Ministry of Social Development says that the department is arranging payments for September and October with the National Treasury for the next few days, “aimed at equalizing and ensuring compliance with the payment schedule in a regular and automatic manner.”

“It is important to highlight that since 2023 the resources have been increased by 125% in relation to the same services paid in 2022”, declared the ministry.

Also according to the ministry, between January 2023 and October 2024, R$127.7 million were transferred via FNAS (National Social Assistance Fund) to the Municipal Fund of São Paulo.
