The Federal Supreme Court () said in a statement that they were safely removed from the Court’s headquarters after two loud bangs next to the building on Wednesday night (13). The servers were also removed “as a precautionary measure”. The two bangs were heard next to the Supreme Court shortly after the end of the plenary session, around 7pm. “More information about the investigations must await the development of the facts. STF Security collaborates with the DF police authorities”, adds the note.

After the identification of explosions near the Federal Supreme Court (STF) and Congress, deputy Sóstenes Cavalcante (PL-RJ) decided to suspend the session in the Chamber plenary. President of the session at the time, Cavalcante requested that those present in the Chamber not leave the building and await instructions from the security forces. At the time of the explosions, deputies were considering a Proposed Amendment to the Constitution that expands tax immunity to churches.
