An international hacking group that gained access to the servers of the Hungarian Army Procurement Agency (VBÜ) sa she did not get access to sensitive military data. According to the 24.hu server, this was announced on Thursday by the head of the government office, Gergely Gulyás, the TASR correspondent in Budapest reports.
“Based on the findings so far, no sensitive military data has been leaked, which is due to the fact that such data did not even exist in the said agency,” said Gulyás. As he added, they are still investigating the nature of the data obtained. The hackers are demanding five million dollars (4.7 million euros) to unlock the locked data and not to release it.
The so-called screenshots of important military secrets, for example various capabilities of the Hungarian armed forces, as well as emails, names of personnel and data on military procurements are already available on the dark web, the server hang.hu said.
