The number of victims of Thursday’s Israeli attacks on several residential houses in the Syrian capital Damascus rose to 20. The number of people injured in the attack rose to 21, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported. TASR informs about it based on the AFP report.
According to SOHR, the Israeli army destroyed three multi-story buildings in the Mazza neighborhood on Thursday. Ten people were killed in the attack, including at least three civilians and two Iranian-backed militants.
Israel also attacked the Qudsaya area, where it hit a residential complex where Palestinians live. The attack claimed another ten lives, including at least three members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, SOHR reported.
Israel, which attacked Damascus from the occupied Golan Heights, claims that the targets of the attacks were military facilities and the headquarters of the Palestinian militant group Islamic Jihad.
According to initial information from the Syrian Ministry of Defense, at least 15 people were killed and another 16 were injured in the attack.
