The situation in Ukraine seems to be getting complicated by the moment. Following numerous Russian offensives and threats, the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, has now announced the evacuation of all residents of different settlements in the Borova community, located in the Kharkiv region, one of the main industrial, cultural and educational centers of the country.
The decision was made at the meeting of the regional defense council, where the mandatory evacuation of all adult residents from different points where fighting is still active was established. Specifically, The affected areas are el asentamiento de Borova y las aldeas de Novoplatonivka, Shyikivka, Pidlyman, Nyzhnia Zhuravka, Borivska Andriivka, Nyzhche Solone, Vyshche Solone, Maliivka y Pisky-Radkivski. On November 13, 2,443 people remain in these settlements.
In addition, the forced evacuation of children and relatives from 28 settlements in the municipality of Borova is planned. In total, 93 children will be evacuated. All those who are evacuated will receive financial assistance, temporary accommodation and help from international partners, including psychological, humanitarian and legal help.
It is not the first time that forced evacuation has been ordered in some part of Ukraine. Already last month, the country announced the mandatory evacuation of civilians in the Kupiansk area, arguing that they could not “ensure heating in the cold season, the supply of electricity or the provision of humanitarian aid”as explained by the governor of the region.
