Homemade food for orchids. Combination of carrot and aloe vera
We know that orchids should only be fertilized during the growing season (April-August). It should be done during this period every two weeks. In the fall, the demands of the orchid will be slightly reduced, and in the winter you should stop fertilizingbecause the plant goes into vegetative rest. What should you do if your orchid is weakened and needs help? Nutrition based on aloe vera and carrots can be a rescue.
To prepare homemade food for your orchid you need a carrot peel and an aloe vera leaf. This combination is a real elixir. Carrots contain many nutrients, such as iron, potassium, nitrogen, as well as vitamins A, K and C. The aloe vera leaf is a source of nitrogen, magnesium, phosphorus and boronwhich support plant growth.
Cut the peeled carrot and aloe vera leaf into small pieces. Put them in a blender and pour 500 ml of water. Blend to a smooth paste. Strain the mixture through a sieveto remove any lumps. Finally, dilute the nutrition 2.5 liters of water.
