At least ten people have died in a fire in a nursing home in Spain, reports the Spanish news agency EFE. According to broadcaster RTVE, two more people were taken to hospital in critical condition.
Authorities said 82 people were present when the fire broke out around 5 a.m. at the care home in Villafranca de Ebro, near the city of Zaragoza.

In addition to the fire brigade, social workers and psychologists have also been deployed to the area to care for residents and local residents.
The Minister of the Interior of the Aragon region, Roberto Bermúdez de Castro, traveled to the site of the fire.
