Newcastle midfielder, Brazilian Joelinton had his house invaded once again in the English city. Both times none of the player’s family members were at the residence. In this most recent case, Joelinton received a security alert on his cell phone and called the police, but the three robbers had already fled.

On social media, the player vented about the episode. “Our house was broken into again. For anyone thinking about doing this, please know that there is nothing valuable left here. We ask that our house be respected as a safe space for our family. We simply want to live in peace,” the player said.

The first time Joelinton’s house was invaded was in January of this year. As he was injured, he was at the stadium, but only watching the Newcastle game, which was defeated by Manchester City 3-2.

It was at that moment, when he was outside the house, that the robbery happened. When the police arrived, the invaders were no longer there. They took valuable items, but the extent of the damage was not reported.

Joelinton has played for the Brazilian national team, but was not called up for this month’s FIFA Data, for the games against Venezuela (1-1 draw, on Thursday) and Uruguay, next Tuesday, the 19th, in Salvador.
