On Friday, as part of a working visit to Hungary, the Deputy Chairman of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, Peter Žiga, met with representatives of Slovaks living in Hungary in Budapest. The correspondent of TASR in Budapest informs about it.

The main topics of Žigu’s negotiations with the parliamentary speaker of the Slovaks in Hungary Anton Pavlík, the chairperson of the National Slovak Self-Government in Hungary Alžbeta Hollerová Račková and the director of the Institute of Culture of the Slovaks in Hungary Katarína Királyová were the education of the Slovak minority in Hungary, minority culture, but also the reconstruction of the former Slovak Evangelical Church in Budapest Rákoci’s class, where the cultural center of Slovaks living in Hungary is to be established.
The Vice-Chairman of the NR SR, who was received by President Tamás Sulyok in the morning, will hold talks with the Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly, László Kövér, in the evening.
