The minister of the Federal Supreme Court (), defended the discussion on the role of social networks, when commenting on the attack committed by a man with explosives in front of the court headquarters.
“We live in an era in which there are attempts to normalize absurdity and personal hatred”, said Dino in an interview after giving the closing speech at the 9th National Meeting of Audit Courts, in Foz do Iguaçu (PR). Representatives from 33 courts of this type in the country participated, including federal, state and municipal.
According to Dino, who is a longtime supporter of platform regulation, the issue needs to be given great importance.
“We need to take this very seriously, and this also concerns the issue of the internet, social networks, so that there can be preventive action”, he declared, in the interview given to TV Cidadã, from the Court of Auditors of the State of Alagoas.

“Regrettable from a personal point of view, I’m sorry for the victim. Unfortunately, this person tried to perpetrate a very serious crime, he could have killed people and demonstrates that these behaviors should not be minimized,” he declared.
