The police arrested a female doctor who refused to submit to a breath test for alcohol. The case occurred on Wednesday (11/13) in one of the outpatient clinics in Bratislava’s Podunajské Biskupice, where the police were investigating an anonymous report about a doctor under the influence of alcohol.
“After arriving at the ambulance, the patrol asked the doctor to submit to a breath test, to which she did not agree. After refusing all the samples and being told that she was committing a crime, the doctor was escorted to the police station.” explained Silvia Šimková, spokeswoman for the Regional Directorate of the Police (KR PZ) in Bratislava.
Against the doctor, 31-year-old Juliana Ď. from Košice, brought charges of criminal endangerment under the influence of an addictive substance. “The case is implemented in the so-called super fast proceedings, the police spokeswoman added.
