Expensive brands are also not necessary – at least that’s what the Stiftung Warentest detergent test shows. The test winner is not a well-known branded product, but comes from the shelves of a discounter.
The Stiftung Warentest detergent test winner is the Tandil Ultra Plus heavy-duty detergent from Aldi Nord (grade 1.8) (view at Aldi Nord). It gets “good” grades in almost all categories. Only in terms of fabric care is the Aldi detergent only “satisfactory”. You don’t have to dig too deep into your wallet for Stiftung Warentest’s test winner. The 2.025-kg bag of the test winner costs around €4.85.
