This Thursday (14), in Jundiaí (SP), a hacker suspected of threatening public authorities in the country was arrested. The measure comes amid the repercussions of the .
The agency carried out two search and seizure warrants with the support of the São Paulo Civil Police. The investigation targets the alleged practice of racist, extremist and homophobic acts and terrorist threats, especially against members of the National Congress.
The suspect would be an information technology professional, with in-depth knowledge of the internet and a history of traffic on the dark web. A second person, suspected of participating in the crimes, was also targeted in the operation, but was not arrested.
According to the Rio Grande do Sul Civil Police, a desktop computer, a notebook, two tablets, two cell phones, pen drives, memories and similar materials were seized, which will be analyzed.
Delegate Vanessa Pitrez, general director of the State Department of Criminal Investigations, says that the police will now investigate whether more people are involved, whether these acts came from a group and whether there is a mastermind.
“We believe that the motivation for these offenses has to do with extremist ideology, which led him to make this proliferation of hate speech, aimed more at far-right ideologies”, says Pitrez.
The delegate says that there is no information at this time whether the suspect is related to the and detonated devices in Praça dos Três Poderes last Wednesday (13).
“But we have indications that the suspect participated in extremist groups,” she says. “We will analyze all this material and we will be able to see if it has any relationship with this individual, if they knew each other or if they participated in similar ideological groups.”

The investigations into the hacker began after state deputy Bruna Rodrigues (PC do B-RS) reported receiving an email containing death threats and sexual assault and racist and extremist statements, directed not only at her, but at her family.
The police officers verified that the document had come from a provider known for its ability to anonymize, whose headquarters are in Switzerland and does not have a collaboration agreement with the Brazilian authorities.
The agents then discovered that the false name used by the suspect had already been exploited by him since 2022. They also identified incidents throughout Brazil, with authorities and public bodies as victims, as disclosed by the police.
Among them, senator Magno Malta (PL-ES) and federal deputies Talíria Petrone (-RJ), (PSOL-SP), Daiane dos Santos (PC do B-RS) and Silvia Cristina Chagas (PP-RO) in addition to the minister of the (Federal Supreme Court).
