All people who were inside the residence have now been removed from the building.
Ten people died in Spain in a fire in the early hours of Friday in a residence for the elderly in Vilafranca de Ebro, Zaragoza, in the northeast of the country, the regional government of Aragon said.
Authorities said there were 82 people in the residence at the time of the fire, which broke out in the early hours of today.
All the people inside the residence have already been removed from the building by firefighters and the causes of the fire are unknown, local mayor Volga Ramírez Gamiz told Spanish public radio, RTVE.
