According to neuroscience, what is the best exercise to strengthen it?

Researchers at Conicet (National Council for Scientific and Technical Research) designed an unprecedented device: a new memory test in a virtual reality environment and concluded that there is a specific exercise that can improve spatial memory.

This study showed promising results for patients with neurodegenerative diseases, as it was discovered that 25 minutes of exercise on an exercise bike improves spatial memory.

The test consisted of remembering the position of flags in a virtual landscape, simulating difficult and easy conditions. With the results, the experts concluded that the physical exercise performed after the learning task improved the subjects’ ability to remember the position of each flag.

This exercise can also contribute to the consolidation of spatial memory, which deteriorates with ageing and various brain diseases.
