Gazprom will stop gas supplies to Austria from Saturday (November 16). TASR informs about it based on a Reuters report. According to information published on the CEGH Remit platform, Gazprom informed the Austrian energy company OMV that it will reduce gas supplies to zero at 6:00 a.m. CET on Saturday.
Gazprom refused to comment on the matter. The reason for stopping the supply of Russian gas to OMV is apparently the arbitration proceedings against Gazprom. OMV already warned on Thursday that Gazprom could stop gas supplies for this reason before the end of the year.
