Yduqs Participações () concluded, through its subsidiary Sociedade de Ensino Superior Estácio de Sá, the acquisition of 100% of the shareholding of the Newton Paiva Ferreira Cultural Institute, which supports the Newton Paiva Cultural Center.
The value of the deal was R$49 million, as reported in May this year. Of the amount, R$34.3 million will be paid up front and R$14.7 million paid over five years, with adjustment by the CDI.
Given the cost and expense synergies expected with the acquisition, the company expects a ratio of 2.2 times EV/Ebitda (firm value/earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) for 2025.
