The police identified the Brazilian Army soldier killed in the tragic accident on BR-364, this Friday (15).

This is Sergeant Guilherme Machado, 33 years old. The truck fell into a cliff on the Caracol bridge on the banks of BR-364. During the incident, one of them – Guilherme – died after being crushed by the vehicle.

In a statement, the Command of the 17th Jungle Infantry Brigade reported that a vehicle from the Acre Border Command/4th Jungle Infantry Battalion was involved in an accident on Highway 364, Km 790, Ponte do Caracol, as it was returning of a training exercise, carried out in the municipality of Campo Novo de Rondônia/RO, to the headquarters of the Military Organization, in Rio Branco/AC
