The Minister of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, Márcio Macêdo, will participate this Saturday (16.Nov.2024) at the closing table on this last day of the .
The Plenaries feature government ministers and civil society representatives to talk about the 3 priority axes for Brazil:
- combating hunger, poverty and inequalities;
- sustainability, climate change and just transition; and
- global governance reform.
After Macedo, the president of Cese (European Economic and Social Committee), Oliver Ropke – representing international civil society – and the representative of national civil society, Mazé Morais, will speak.
The G20 Social is held in parallel with the summit meeting of world leaders, on Monday and Tuesday (18 and 19.Nov.2024). It aims to include the participation of non-governmental actors in G20 decisions.
