Merchant says the sale of artifacts was made in accordance with Federal District regulations
The PF (Federal Police) collected, on Friday (15.Nov.2024), the testimony of Fernando “Barramansa” Pereira. He owns the fireworks store in Ceilândia (DF) where, the perpetrator of the explosions in Praça dos Três Poderes who died on Wednesday night (13.Nov.2024), bought the artifacts.
After giving his statement, Pereira spoke to journalists. He said that his store follows the standards required by the Government of the Federal District. “The sale is legal, our store is legal. The documents are up to date. The product we sell to him is within the normal range. We are calm”, he declared, quoted by .
The Civil Police of the Federal District obtained images of the purchase recorded by security cameras and shared them with the PF. According to police officers, Francisco modified the fireworks so that the explosions were more powerful.
The merchant stated that the person responsible for the explosions purchased the artifacts on November 5th and 6th. Added together, the purchases were paid off with a debit card.
Pereira showed the portal the invoices for purchases made by the man. On November 5, he purchased fireworks of the “Zeeus Pie” type, with 64 20 millimeter tubes. He spent R$295. Later on the same day, he returned to the store asking for more powerful artifacts. As there was nothing in the store, the two agreed that Francisco would return the next day.
On November 6, the man bought “Torta 3G”, with 25 tubes triple the thickness, 60 millimeters. The merchant reported that the man spent R$1,250 that day.

Francisco was a candidate for councilor in Rio do Sul (SC) for the PL (Liberal Party) in 2020. He was also the owner of loaded with fireworks that exploded in the parking lot of Annex 4 of the Chamber of Deputies. The explosion was moments before the attacks on the STF.

O Poder360 that the man was at the STF building on August 24 during a public visit. He posted the moment of the visit on social media. “They let the fox into the chicken coop (sty) or they don’t know the size of the prey or it’s just stupidity”he wrote.
