The president of , (-MG), condemned the explosive attack that took place in Praça dos Três Poderes, in , on Wednesday night (13). In his statement, Pacheco also thanked the security forces working on the case.
“I extend my congratulations to the public security forces who responded to the occurrence of bomb explosions, last night, in Praça dos Três Poderes. The sad episode that shocked us all and, regrettably, resulted in the death of one person, demonstrates how much we must repudiate and discourage acts of violence and hate speech in our country”, says Rodrigo Pacheco.
59, blew himself up in Praça dos Três Poderes and detonated his own car. He was a locksmith and ran in the 2020 election under the name Tiü França, in Rio do Sul (SC), but was not elected.
Before he died, he published a series of messages about the attack, mixing political and religious statements. Francisco’s body remained in Praça dos Três Poderes until early this Thursday morning (14) and was removed around 9 am.
In the early hours of the morning, a property in Ceilândia (DF) was searched and swept because it was used by Francisco. The rented apartment also had a bathroom.
