Sports commentator Pedro Guerra died this Friday of cancer. He was 58 years old.
Pedro Guerra became known as a sports commentator on several television channels, namely on CMTV and TVI, while Benfica fan.
The program that gave him the greatest prominence was “Prolongation” on TVI24where he always defended Benfica in a fierce manner, even making statements that led to legal proceedings.
“I’m not afraid of Pinto da Costa”he even said in court, in 2023, after being sued for raising suspicions against a referee who had favored FC Porto.
It was also content director at Benfica TV and sports journalist.
Pedro Guerra was also advisor to the former Minister of Defense from CDS-PP, Paulo Portas.
