Spain is once again on alert, with Andalusia being hit hard by torrential rain, just weeks after the storm that devastated Valencia, causing more than 200 deaths and leaving thousands homeless.

This time, Málaga is the most affected area, with intense rainfall leaving more than 3,000 people homeless, flooding roads and forcing the closure of hospitals and health centers, according to the newspaper The Country. On social media, several videos show the strength of the waters that devastate the city.
Emergency services are warning the population to avoid traveling to the affected areas, especially due to the red alert. The passage of the DANA depression also caused damage to public buildings, including the ‘Virgen de la Victoria’ University Hospital in Malaga.
