In just five minutes, heavy rain flooded several streets in Albufeira this Thursday morning, causing disruption in the city center. The district of Faro is under yellow warning due to the forecast of more intense precipitation, with the alert remaining until 3pm today and returning on Friday, from 3am to 9pm.
Authorities recommend caution in areas most prone to flooding and recall the importance of avoiding unnecessary travel during periods of greater rainfall intensity.
