The actress and singer Selena Gomez32, shared this Saturday (16) never-before-seen images from behind the scenes of “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” (“Wizards Beyond Waverly Place“, in free translation), spin-off of the 2007 series “Wizards of Waverly Place“, and Disney.
In a series of photos published on her Instagram profile, Gomez appears alongside her co-stars and the series’ production team. In the caption, the actress states: “Nothing will beat making kids laugh… Thank you, @disneywizardsseries for making the little girl in me so happy! I hope you watch!”
The spin-off, which premiered on October 29th on Disney Channel, is the character responsible for launching her to worldwide fame in 2007. The series also stars David Henrie as Justin Russo, 12 years after the end of the original series.
The new cast includes the young sorceress Billie (Janice LeAnn Brown), her friend Winter (Taylor Cora), is Roman (Alkaio Thiele), son of Justin with his wife Giada (I’m Gianopulos).
The original series “” tells the story of a seemingly ordinary family who live in New York, but who hide a big secret: they all have magical powers. In the plot, the brothers undergo training to learn how to use and master their gifts, in order to discover who will become the family sorcerer.
The story also produced two films: “Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie” (2009) and “Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex” (2013). The original series, the feature films and the spin-off are available on the streaming platform.
