The Ukrainian president added that American legislation does not allow him to meet with the newly elected US president Donald Trump before his inauguration, which will take place in January 2025. “As the president of Ukraine, I take seriously only the conversation with the president of the United States, with all due respect to any entourage, to any people,” he emphasized.
