The intense relations between Hungary and the Slovak Republic result from the fact that both countries have common interests. This was announced on Friday in Budapest by the Deputy Chairman of the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic (SR), entrusted with its management, Peter Žigawhich within During his working visit to Hungary, he met with the Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly, László Kövér. “We talked about our mutual procedures and cooperation within the European Union, the grouping of the Vyšehrad Four, on cooperation within the energy sector, because it will expire after January 1, 2025 treaty between Russia and Ukraineregarding the transit and supply of natural gas. Since our countries have done their homework in the past, we have interconnected transit networks, so we can work together even in case natural gas outagewhich should come from Russia, we can replace it with other branches,” said the vice-chairman of the NR SR.
