At least 21 people have died in Israeli bombings against several points in the south and east of Lebanon, as well as in the capital, Beirut. Israel, for its part, has confirmed the death of one of its soldiers.
Six people, including three children, one of them three years old, have died and eleven more people have been injured in a bombing in Jraibein eastern Baalbek, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health. Five of the injured are minors and two of them are in critical condition. Five more people have died in Al Jazaer, also in Nabatiye, and one more has died in an attack on a motorcycle in Tyre.
Five more people have died as a result of the Israeli air raids on the town of Kfar Tebnitin the Nabatiye region, in the south of the country, according to the latest balance from the Lebanese authorities.
An Israeli drone reportedly launched a projectile at a rescue team from the Rissala Scouts, linked to the Amal political party, on a road in the area, according to the Lebanese newspaper ‘L’Orient-Le Jour’. Four more people have died -two Lebanese and two Syrians- in an attack against a van transporting potatoes in a road near Nabi Chit, in Baalbek.
The Israeli Army has confirmed fifty bombings on Beirut after ordering a new forced evacuation of the area, considered a stronghold of the Hezbollah militias.
The Lebanese authorities have not yet provided information on the number of victims of these bombings, concentrated mainly in the Dahiya neighborhood of the capital, the usual target of these attacks.
These bombings have been repeated in Mansuri, Al Hoch and Al Athar (Tyre)in the south of the country, after another night of Israeli attacks in surrounding areas, such as the Bint Jbeil region. There have also been attacks by Israeli aircraft in Shihine, Majdel Zun, Mansuri, Khiam and Shaitiye.
The Arabic spokesman of the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, has urged the evacuation of a total of 15 towns in southern Lebanon: Kfar Hamam, Kfarchuba, Burj el Muluk, Jiam, Blat, Dibbein, Arnun, Yohmor, Deir Seriane, Taybéin, Qossai , Kauthariyet el Rez, Kfar Tebnín, Homeiri y Matriyet Chumar.
