“I saw that there was a letter under the cart”, says Rejane Dantas, without remembering whether the gift was for a nephew or a stepson. “He said it was his cart, it even came without a box.”
“I organized the cables, put them in a plastic bag. I made a package for him to give as a gift. He said he just didn’t want the red ribbon, because he didn’t like red. He tipped me R$10.”
Neighbors say that Francisco also got rid of other belongings in the last few days, such as a watch and a bird. In yet another indication that the attack was planned, it was planned at least three months ago.
The woman who manages the four studios and lives in one of them, Gleide Alves, reports that Francisco said he would sell souvenirs to tourists.

The Federal Police are investigating the case as a terrorist act and an attack on the democratic rule of law. The general director of the PF too. Even if the action was individual, he assesses, there are always ideals of a radical and extremist group behind it.
