The Military Police of Cruzeiro do Sul, through the 6°BPM/Environmental Platoon, carried out the seizure of illegally extracted wood and roots used as raw material for Ayahuasca last Friday (15).

According to the corporation, the operation took place after intensifying the garrison in rural areas of the municipality, where the situation had already occurred a few days ago.
“Such actions resulted in the seizure of illegally extracted wood, as well as the irregular transport of vines, both without due authorization from the competent environmental agencies”, highlighted the PM.
All seized material was handed over to the Civil Police Station for appropriate procedures.
