Neymar’s desired return to Santos may be closer. In recent days, Santos received a positive signal from the star, who had a confirmed injury and should no longer play for Al-Hilal this year.
According to “Uol Esportes”, Neymar has already signaled his desire to return to his former club. Until then, Peixe planned to have the number 10 in July, at the end of the contract with Al-Hilal, when the player would arrive at Vila Belmiro free of transfer costs.
But the scenario changed last week. Neymar was diagnosed again with an injury and the recovery time is four to six weeks, meaning the star will no longer play for the Saudi team this season. The panorama generated dissatisfaction among Arab directors, who question the player’s value for money: he played just seven games for Al-Hilal, with one goal and two assists.
If Neymar and Al-Hilal manage to reach an amicable termination, the striker would arrive at Santos at the start of the 2025 season.
