In 2025, São Cristóvão will compete in Series B1 of the Campeonato Carioca, equivalent to the third state division.
Traditional club
Founded on October 12, 1898, São Cristóvão is one of eight clubs that have already become champions of the Campeonato Carioca, in the 1926 and 1937 seasons.
In 1926, the club recorded 14 wins, two draws and just two defeats in eighteen games, beating opponents such as Flamengo (5-0 and 5-1), Fluminense (4-2) and Botafogo (6-3) during the campaign.
