Supporters of various parties and trade unions took action to end the 6 x 1 scale and offended the PSB federal deputy
Protesters present at an action against the 6 x 1 scale cursed the federal deputy (PSB-SP) on Friday (15.Nov.2024). Encouraged by a person speaking at the electric trio, they shouted: “Ei Tabata, vai tomar no cu”. The demonstration was held on Avenida Paulista, in São Paulo.
At least 22 cities were organized by VAT (Life Beyond Work Movement) and the federal deputy (Psol-SP), author of the (Proposed Amendment to the Constitution) that 36 hours per week. Here is the text (PDF – 175 kB).
The events were marked by posters and speeches against the 6 x 1 scale. There were flags from left-wing parties, student organizations and trade unions. In São Paulo, Erika Hilton and the defeated mayoral candidate (Psol), who is also a federal deputy, spoke.
According to Erika Hilton’s office, she was not in the sound car at the time of the offenses against Tabata Amaral. The psolist’s team stated that the deputy was not involved in the aggression and that they did not know who spoke into the microphone.

The online petition against the 6 X 1 scale has 2.9 million signatures. The document presented to the Chamber of Deputies has at least 216 signatures – 171 were needed to begin processing. Strong popular support “” Congress to debate working hours in Brazil, according to Erika Hilton.
The recently elected Rio councilor (Psol-RJ) is the creator of VAT and the proposal. The former clerk mobilized online to ask federal deputies to sign the PEC – including Tabata Amaral.
The socialist was one of the names most asked to speak out about the reduction in working hours. After a few days, Tabata to the PEC. He justified the delay by saying that he needed time to analyze the text.
The congresswoman defended the fight against “exhausting workload” and said that “just ban” the working model is not enough. “[Devemos] think about incentives for small companies to hire, so that the plan doesn’t backfire and this project increases pejotization”.
The mobilization also put pressure on opposition deputies. (PL-MG) is one of the main opponents of Erika Hilton’s proposal. After the attack on Tabata Amaral in Paulista, he shared the video of the offenses on social media.
“Just take a look at how the left treats those who even signed the PEC, but said they had reservations, at the demonstration. (…) They like to talk about respect with women, but when it’s them, anything can happen.”, said the deputy in a video published on Instagram.
